Blue Light Card. Individually great, together unstoppable

The Role and the Team

Our platform connects millions of members with savings and experiences that make a real difference to their everyday lives, and Member Engagement is a key strategic focus for Blue Light Card, bringing together personalisation, loyalty, and cross-category initiatives to make the experience more relevant and rewarding for every member.

Reporting to the Director of Member Engagement, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the programme plan across five working groups spanning CRM, data, product, and go-to-market teams. This is a six-month fixed-term contract for someone comfortable building structure in ambiguous environments, working in close partnership with a Technical Programme Lead and contributing actively to BLC's wider Programme Management community.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the end-to-end programme plan across the Member Engagement pillar, developing the planning frameworks, governance structures, and operating rhythms that create accountability and momentum across all workstreams
  • Translate strategy into structured, executable plans across CRM, data, personalisation, loyalty, and go-to-market teams, ensuring workstreams are sequenced, owned, and aligned to strategic priorities
  • Partner with the Technical Programme Lead on integrated planning and dependency management, keeping business and technical delivery aligned as the programme evolves
  • Coordinate proactively across working groups and functions, resolving blockers and fostering a collective delivery mindset before challenges escalate
  • Anticipate risks and delivery gaps, developing robust mitigation approaches and maintaining accountability across the pillar
  • Establish and maintain a strong operating cadence, including planning cycles, progress tracking, and reporting that gives leadership clear visibility of performance against objectives
  • Partner with senior leaders to stress-test and refine strategic priorities, using execution data and structured insight to surface what is and isn't working
  • Build a measurement framework that connects programme outputs to member outcomes, creating the evidence base that informs what scales and what stops
  • Develop and apply AI-enabled approaches to programme management, structuring plans, automating reporting and tracking, and identifying opportunities to reduce coordination overhead

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience leading cross-functional programmes end-to-end in product-led, digital environments, with a track record of turning ambiguous strategy into clear, structured delivery frameworks with measurable outcomes
  • A background of building decision-making frameworks, governance structures, and operating cadences from scratch, rather than inheriting them
  • Solid experience working alongside CRM, product, and data teams in an Agile environment, with a practical understanding of how digital delivery works at sprint level
  • Experience partnering with technical leads on integrated planning, with confidence managing cross-functional dependencies across business and engineering delivery
  • Strong prioritisation skills anchored in outcomes, with the ability to challenge direction, hold teams to account, and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • A collaborative approach that goes beyond coordination, championing shared ownership and collective ways of working across functions
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in applying them to improve how programmes plan, report, and execute would be a bonus
