Are you an experienced programme leader who can bring structure, pace and confidence to complex organisational change?

Redbridge Council is delivering an ambitious Modernisation Programme to help shape the future of the organisation. Working in partnership with services across the Council, the programme focuses on improving how services are designed and delivered, making better use of data, digital technology and innovation to improve outcomes for residents and ensure services remain sustainable for the future.

We are looking for a Modernisation Programme Manager to lead high-profile programmes of work across the Council and support services to deliver practical, lasting improvements.

About The Role

As Modernisation Programme Manager, you will provide leadership across a portfolio of complex programmes, working closely with Directors, Heads of Service, project teams and service colleagues.

  • Ensure programmes are well planned, effectively governed and delivered at pace, with clear milestones, risks, dependencies, benefits and outcomes.
  • Play a key role in supporting senior decision-making and ensuring delivery remains aligned to the Council’s strategic priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
