An Exciting Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to join our Defence Aerospace business in Bristol.
In this role, you will report directly to the SVP Infrastructure, and will be accountable for the programme and business management across our infrastructure works and projects. You will be delivering on the requirements against UK MOD programmes of work.
What You Will Be Doing
With this exciting opportunity you will:
- Lead on the preparation and submission of Capital Works Package Orders and Package Order change amendments to our Customer, working closely with the individual Project delivery leads, Group Property, Group IT, Commercial and Pricing.
- Ensure all Package Order internal approvals are complete prior to proposal release.
- Prepare and disseminate project performance information relative to cost, schedule adherence and risk.
- Be the lead interface for Capital Works Operational Reviews and Governance, specifically the business reporting and financial metrics.
- Lead change management activities.
- Ensure flow down of all contract requirements into the internal and external supply chain teams.
- Manage and discharge our duties as client under Construction (Design and Manufacture) (CDM) regulations amongst the Capital Works Programme Team.
- Support the UK MOD Operations Review forum.

Position Qualifications

- A demonstrated proficiency in programme management with a sound understanding of programme management techniques.
- Prior experience of running programme and project governance.

- An ability to build compassionate stakeholder relationships internally and externally, and at different levels within organisations.
- A strategic and innovative thought process.
- A self-starter mindset.
- An inclusive leadership style, who will motivate, coach and develop teams to drive effective collaboration.
- Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business, an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance.
