Life on the team

At Computacenter, we're looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex technology-enabled transformations for our customers. You'll take ownership of large-scale programmes, portfolios, and strategic change initiatives, helping organisations achieve their business objectives while delivering measurable business outcomes and exceptional service outcomes.


What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of large, complex programmes, portfolios, and transformation initiatives, managing interdependencies and ensuring alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Provide executive-level governance, assurance and controls across complex programmes or portfolios ensuring effective stakeholder management, and strategic direction.
  • Provide programme management consultancy and advisory services, helping customers shape, mature and improve their change delivery capabilities.
  • Manage financial performance, risks, dependencies, and programme outcomes.
  • Deliver sustained business change and measurable benefits.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
  • Lead and influence cross functional teams across Computacenter, customers and third-party partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and identify opportunities to deliver additional value for customers and support business growth.
  • Support pre-sales activities, solution development, and proposal creation.
  • Provide strategic advice and thought leadership to customers.
  • Coach and lead high-performing, cross-functional delivery teams.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong programme and portfolio management expertise in complex customer environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and contract delivery, commercial governance and risk management.
  • Ability to influence at executive level and successfully navigate organisational change.
  • Experience leading matrix managed teams across multiple stakeholders and organisations.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for customer success and service excellence.
  • Experience delivering complex IT infrastructure, workplace, cloud, service transformation or enterprise technology programmes across a variety of sectors.
