Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Programme Manager to lead complex, global data and change programmes, overseeing Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and contingent resources across multiple locations. The role will own programme delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement, resource and financial management, and execution across key data-related initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Own programme delivery strategy, execution, scope, benefits, governance, roadmaps, and adoption plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead Project Managers, Scrum Masters, PMOs, and contingent resources across complex global deliveries, ensuring commitments are met for scope, schedule, budget, and benefits.
  • Manage programme reporting, governance, OKRs, benefits realisation, stage gates, and audit-ready documentation for relevant stakeholders and committees.
  • Lead programme intake and integrated triage of new work and change requirements, establishing requirements, scope, capabilities, and budget.
  • Manage resource planning, pricing, and detailed budgets in partnership with delivery leads, ensuring alignment with deliverables and actual effort.
  • Own risks, issues, dependencies, and change control, acting as an escalation point and driving solutions with integrated teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage third-party negotiations and oversee service agreement and contract performance.
  • Establish delivery dashboards and reporting using approved tools such as JIRA and Confluence to monitor financial health, deliverables, KPIs, and OKRs.
  • Establish controls, procedures, and quality assurance processes aligned with applicable Change and Risk and Controls frameworks.
  • Lead platform and data migration programmes, including SAS, covering option analysis, target-state design, roadmaps, environment readiness, testing, parallel runs, cutover, and back-out planning.
  • Manage SAS migration dependencies, remediation, data lineage, reconciliation, and post-migration assurance to maintain data integrity and effective controls.
  • Partner with business, engineering, operations, risk, security, and vendors to manage expectations, training, adoption, and operational handover.
  • Coach and mentor Project Management and Scrum teams, manage performance and workloads, resolve escalations, and develop delivery capability.
  • Partner with global Programme Managers and the Programme Office to implement delivery strategy and continuously improve programme management practices.
  • Participate in Programme Steering Committees and Working Groups, providing effective governance and decision-making support.
  • Lead and motivate high-performing global teams across multiple locations, cultures, and matrix structures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
