Role: Programme Manager (Retail client) - Contract role

Consulting Seniority: Senior Consultant - Director

Day rate: Estimate £500-£800 outside IR35

Project duration: 3 months with likely extension

Location: Hybrid in London, Reading, and Dublin

We’re supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide.

We're looking for an experienced Programme Director to lead a stock & inventory movement visibility programme for a large retail organisation. The role will take ownership of a complex, business-critical transformation designed to improve visibility of stock as it moves across the supply chain and retail network.

Tasks

  • Align senior stakeholders across technology, operations and supply chain
  • Manage programme governance, risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery performance

Requirements

  • An independent consultant
  • Deep experience leading large, complex transformation programmes
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and programme governance skills
  • Retail or supply chain experience, ideally involving stock or inventory visibility
  • Consulting experience
