A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join a high-profile transformation function. This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver a portfolio of strategic business change initiatives, driving improvements from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation.

Your new role

As Programme Manager, you'll lead a range of business transformation initiatives, from idea through to delivery and benefits realisation. Working with senior business and technology stakeholders, you'll develop business cases, secure approval, and drive projects through governance and implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple business change and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Identify process improvements and deliver practical solutions.
  • Manage programme governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.
  • Maintain key documentation, including programme plans, RAID logs, business cases, and status reports.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Ensure successful delivery and benefits realisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale business transformation and change programmes.
  • Strong business case development and benefits realisation experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to analyse business challenges and develop practical, outcome-focused solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and workstreams within a wider programme environment.
  • Strong governance, risk management, and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.

What you'll get in return

  • £650 - £750 per day (Umbrella)
  • Initial 12-month contract
  • Hybrid working with a mixture of home working and office attendance in London and Stevenage
