Programme Manager - Project Falcon

Lead One of Tarmac's Most Significant Digital Transformations

Location: Hybrid - Remote/Mountsorrel

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a track record of delivering large-scale business and technology transformation?

At Tarmac, we're embarking on Project Falcon, a business-critical transformation that will redefine how we manage Order and Dispatch operations across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to lead a complex, enterprise-wide programme that brings together business process design, ERP systems, integrations, data, testing and deployment into a single, high-impact solution.

As Programme Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Falcon, ensuring strategic ambition is successfully translated into a fully integrated, tested and operational solution. Working alongside senior leaders, strategic partners and specialist delivery teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.

What You'll Be Doing

Drive End-to-End Programme Delivery

You'll lead the successful implementation of Project Falcon from design through to deployment, ensuring every workstream remains aligned to a single integrated solution vision.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Owning the integrated programme baseline across business design, SAP ECC, Salesforce, TCS DigiFleet, interfaces, data, testing and deployment activities
  • Leading cross-functional teams through design, build, validation, pilot and rollout phases
  • Ensuring approved requirements are translated into high-quality, deployment-ready solutions
  • Driving alignment across customer, operations, logistics, finance and technology stakeholders
  • Resolving complex cross-workstream challenges and escalating critical decisions where required
  • Providing clear programme leadership, governance and reporting to the Programme Director and Steering Committee

Assure Quality, Readiness and Adoption

You'll be accountable for maintaining delivery integrity throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring every release is fully tested, integrated and ready for operational use.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
