Programme Manager

As Programme Manager, you'll be the person who turns strategic direction into structured, trackable, real-world delivery. You won't manage the teams — but you'll shape how they work, what they work on, and whether the initiatives your Head of Operations is driving actually stick. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who is equally at home building a project plan, designing a process, and presenting to a VP.

You'll sit across the whole of Trade Lifecycle, partnering closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and CRM to make sure the right things get built, rolled out, and embedded — not just kicked off.

Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:

  • Strategic programme management: own the delivery of Trade Lifecycle's most critical initiatives end to end — from scoping and planning through to execution and review
  • Tooling and systems rollout: lead the planning and delivery of tooling changes across Retention, Credit Control, and Trade Support — working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, manage timelines, and make sure the teams are set up to use new systems effectively.
  • Process design and standardisation: identify where processes are inconsistent, undocumented, or breaking down under scale — and fix them.
  • Change management and embedding: new initiatives have a habit of not sticking. You'll own the change management layer — stakeholder communication, rollout sequencing, training and adoption tracking
  • Cross-functional alignment: act as the senior point of coordination between Trade Lifecycle and Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and CRM.
  • Insight and performance tracking: build and maintain the reporting infrastructure that shows whether strategic initiatives are working. Own the KPI framework for transformation delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

It's not about ticking every box. It's about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You'll do well here if you bring:

  • Depth of experience in a programme, operations, or strategy delivery role — ideally in a high-growth tech or marketplace business.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from design through to measurable outcome — not just managing the plan, but owning the result.
  • Strong project management instincts — you can hold multiple workstreams simultaneously, spot dependencies before they become blockers, and keep senior stakeholders clearly informed without overwhelming them.
  • Experience leading tooling or systems rollouts in an operational environment — you understand the change management challenge, not just the technical one.
  • Proficiency with project management tooling (e.g. Jira, Asana, Monday, or equivalent) and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, or Sheets/Excel at an advanced level).
