Job Overview/Purpose
Every day may be different – it’s the nature of managing programmes and complex projects!
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that programmes and large-scale projects under your management run smoothly, delivering value and aligning with strategic business objectives. You will oversee multiple interrelated projects within a programme while also being hands-on in managing individual complex projects when required. If you are a passionate Programme Manager who thrives on strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement, and driving successful outcomes, then come and join our enthusiastic team.
This role is a blend of customer-facing programme and project management (65% billable work), supporting direct reports (20% line management) and supporting our sales organisation (15% Pre-Sales engagement). You will be hands-on in ensuring successful customer deliveries while also contributing to business growth by managing a team successfully, shaping proposals, engaging in pre-sales discussions, and helping to define the strategic direction of new engagements.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with our wonderful Customers (both new and longstanding) and working with nearly all areas of the business, including Pre-Sales, Commercial, Consultancy, Support, and Finance. Your activities will include strategic planning, overseeing programme delivery, directly managing high-impact projects, forecasting, communicating progress, mitigating risks, and managing interdependencies. You will also manage budgets and ensure that projects within the programme deliver value and align with business goals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
