IC Resources is working with a leading Aerospace & Aviation business that is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join them on an initial 12-month contract basis. This role is Outside IR35.
You’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of complex engineering programmes, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Acting as the focal point for programme execution, you’ll balance customer expectations, commercial objectives, and technical delivery across multiple workstreams.

The business develops advanced hardware solutions, so experience working within environments involving electronics, FPGA, PCB, avionics, or embedded systems would be highly beneficial.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering complex programmes within Aerospace, Aviation, Defence, or another highly regulated engineering environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Experience managing programme schedules, budgets, risks, and customer deliverables.
- Comfortable working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- A track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and successfully delivering key programme milestones.
- Experience overseeing hardware-led engineering projects.
- Exposure to electronics, Hardware, FPGA, PCB, or embedded systems programmes.
- An understanding of the challenges associated with delivering products in regulated industries.
