Job Description
Your Role
Kick It Out, football’s leading equality and inclusion organisation, is seeking a Programme Officer to support the delivery and development of our talent and education programmes, with a particular focus on our flagship Raise Your Game programme. You will support the delivery of high-quality programme activity across events, webinars, and partner activations. Working closely with the Programme Team, you will coordinate activities, engage with participants and partners, and help create impactful and inclusive opportunities that strengthen progression pathways within football.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
What You’ll Do
Programme Delivery and Coordination
- Own the end-to-end delivery of Raise Your Game activity, including events, webinars, and partner activations, working closely with the Programme Lead and wider team
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and delivery outputs, ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard and against agreed objectives
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to support programme delivery and marketing activity
- Maintain clear planning documents, records, and KPIs, providing regular progress updates to the Programme Lead
Participant Engagement and Progression
- Engage participants before, during, and after activity to support retention and a positive experience
- Act as a key point of contact for participants, mentors, and partners
- Coordinate work experience and progression opportunities
- Support the sourcing and delivery of additional opportunities through partner relationships
- Track participant outcomes, including placements, internships, and employment progression
- Gather feedback and insights to improve programme delivery and participant experience
- Support the development of case studies and storytelling content

- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring clear communication around expectations, outputs, and opportunities

What You’ll Bring

- Passionate about talent development, education, inclusion, and creating meaningful progression opportunities
- Experience coordinating programmes, projects, events, or similar activity, with the ability to manage plans, timelines, and competing priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with participants, partners, and colleagues
- A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of your work
- Ability to work collaboratively, seek support when needed, and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience working in an education, sport, community, or inclusion-focused setting is welcome, but not essential

All of our roles are fully remote but require travel for monthly away days, relevant events, and meetings, mainly in London but sometimes elsewhere in the UK. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
