Intelix.AI is supporting a major consulting client with the appointment of experienced Programme Managers and Project Managers for a fast-paced banking transformation environment.
The key requirement is strong private-sector banking experience, with a proven record of delivering complex business and technology change at pace. AI experience is useful but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex programmes, projects or major workstreams from mobilisation through delivery.
- Build and manage plans, milestones, budgets, resources and dependencies.
- Coordinate business, technology, operations, risk, compliance and third-party teams.
- Own risks, issues, actions, decisions and change control.
- Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Resolve delivery blockers and maintain momentum in a high-pressure environment.
- Ensure delivery aligns with banking governance, risk and control requirements.
- Support implementation, business readiness and transition into BAU.

Essential experience
- Strong programme or project management experience within private-sector banking.
- Recent delivery experience inside a bank or major banking transformation programme.
- Proven ownership of complex business and technology change.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams and delivery partners.
- Strong understanding of banking governance, risk, controls and regulatory expectations.
- Hands-on ownership of plans, budgets, resources, risks and delivery outcomes.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Programme Manager profile
- Experience leading multiple workstreams and senior delivery leads.
- Ownership of programme governance, financials and benefits.
- Confidence presenting to executive sponsors and steering committees.
- Experience managing major dependencies and recovering challenged programmes.

- Payments, cards or lending
- Risk, controls or regulatory remediation
- Data or platform transformation
- Operations and process improvement
- Customer onboarding, KYC or AML
- Automation or AI-enabled change
Desirable
- AI, machine learning or automation exposure
- Consulting-led transformation experience
- Agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery experience
- MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, APM or SAFe certification
