The role will be central to improving supplier quality performance, managing non-conformance and corrective action processes, capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement across the programme.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting programme teams and suppliers to understand and implement quality requirements.
- Developing and improving quality arrangements across programme delivery activities.
- Strengthening quality planning, quality records and delivery assurance evidence.
- Leading improvements in non-conformance, defect management and corrective action processes.
- Working with suppliers to improve quality performance and quality management arrangements.
- Facilitating supplier quality forums and quality improvement initiatives.
- Managing and improving lessons learned processes so that learning is captured and applied.
- Monitoring quality performance information to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting readiness for audits, certification activity and programme reviews.
- Working collaboratively across engineering, delivery, commercial, risk, environment, health & safety and governance teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the programme lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
