Role Description
Member of the Programme Quality team, communicates with and presents information to all levels and cross functions in SGB. Contributes towards customer liaison for in-development programme and new programme introduction quality topics. As required to support in-development programmes (UK / International):
- Analyse customer requirements, establish and maintain quality deliverables by cascading them internally and to the supply chain through the program quality plan.
- Ensure due application of the PROMPT reference system and the "Program Management" process by applying best practices.
- Report to customers on compliance with their quality requirements.
- Guarantee quality performance within the program:
- Prepare reports and coordinate the associated improvement plan.
- Implement a quality risk management plan for the program.
- Support the operational teams in the attainment of program QCD (quality, cost, delivery) performance targets.
- Promote the EN 9145 (APQP/PPAP) standard.
- Manage quality events exported from the program.
- Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers concerning quality.

Requirements
This role is subject to pre-employment checks, including but not limited to criminal record checks. Only candidates who successfully pass these checks will be considered for employment.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering / Manufacturing related discipline.
Experience and Skills:
- D/PFMEA & Control Plans; experience and full detail understanding and execution
- APQP / PPAP
- Risk Analysis
- Programme Management Gate Process Understanding & exposure (Essential)
- EASA Part 21J/G (Desirable)
- AS9100 Awareness (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience supporting Quality Assurance / APQP / DFM / D/PFMEA activities across multi-disciplinary programmes (Essential)
- Knowledge of management of HSE risks (Essential)
- Flight safety risk management (Essential)
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills (8D, Six-Sigma etc.) (Essential)
- Competent communicator with an ability to establish trusted working relationships across all departments and with Customers (Essential)
- Proven track record on supporting teams / projects to deliver milestones (Essential)
- Develop quality assurance and lead continuous improvement efforts
- Analyze quality performance and help build standards of quality (Essential)
- Investigate, troubleshoot, audit and advise on poor quality (Essential)
- Promote the company's quality culture (Essential)
- Proficiency in the applicable standards, regulations and customer requirements (EXTERNAL) Desirable
- Manage product/documentation configuration (Desirable)
