The Program Senior Manager will be directly responsible for providing leadership and executing a large EPM implementation within the client’s larger Oracle financial transformation program. This will include defining the roadmap and implementation strategy, as well as the processes to deliver successfully. You will act as the go-to person for all work streams at the senior client stakeholder level, including at C-suite. This role will also perform the day to day project management/administration tasks, including budget management, invoicing and updating project plans.

- Makes quality decisions without having all the information at hand; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty
- Ability to effectively manage a project throughout its lifecycle, from initiation to deploy
- Creation and management of project schedules, including MS Project Plans
- Creation of status reports for Steering Committee meetings to facilitate decision making
- Daily management of project leads, which may include client resources
- Daily management and escalation of project control processes, including task management, RAID, scope/change control and quality control
- Project budgeting and management of budget, which includes liaison with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Support staffing process, including assisting with functional on-boarding of new project, providing instruction on project processes & tools
- Close management of test strategy and execution
- Facilitates team building activities

Additional consulting responsibilities may include:
- Provide leadership to practice and team direction on engagements beyond individual contribution
- Lead business development efforts

Candidate Requirements:
- Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
- PMP, PRINCE2 or similar professional qualification
- 10+ years’ work experience in the project management and consulting field
- 2+ years’ work experience, specifically managing a program/s
- Experience managing implementation for a Big 4
- Experience managing project teams of 25+ people, in a fast paced environment
- Skilled in the use of MS Office suite and experience of other project management tools (e.g. SharePoint, LiveMeeting, Smartsheet, JIRA)
- Proficient user of Microsoft Project
- Experience managing and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Preferred project implementation experience in one of the following areas: EPM, ERP
- An interest and familiarity with the Oracle technology
- Passion and drive for business development and problem solving
- Established skills in identifying and developing strategies to address change management needs
- Ability to translate client needs and feedback into coherent project plans
- Experience in the banking industry is a plus
- A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
- Bilingual – French and English
- The position may involve travel
