Join a High-Profile SEND Transformation Programme

We are recruiting for an experienced Programme Support Officer to support the delivery of a significant SEND Reform Programme, helping to improve outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation programme, supporting the implementation of the Council's new Experts at Hand model. Working across multiple workstreams and partner organisations, you will provide comprehensive programme management support, ensuring effective governance, reporting, planning and stakeholder engagement activities are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the SEND Reform Programme and associated transformation projects.
  • Coordinate programme governance arrangements, including boards, steering groups, workshops and working groups.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, action logs and decision trackers.
  • Monitor programme milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
  • Maintain programme plans, risk registers, action logs and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support the production of reports for senior leadership teams, governance boards and external assurance processes.
  • Collect, analyse and present programme information to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Assist with programme communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Work closely with operational managers, schools, health partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Support workshops, engagement sessions and co-production activities involving families and partner organisations.
  • Contribute to benefits realisation, programme evaluation and performance reporting.
  • Support procurement, financial monitoring and contract management activities where required.
  • Ensure programme records are maintained in line with information governance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve programme management processes and operational efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
