Programme Test Manager – (Buy Side Asset Management)
Location: London / Hybrid (UK)
Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35)
Start: ASAP
Day Rate: £750-850 per day
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading global asset manager, is seeking an experienced Programme Test Manager to lead the testing strategy and delivery across a major business transformation programme focused on fund lifecycle events, including fund launches, mergers, restructures, closures or investment platform migrations/implementations.
This is a high-profile programme requiring an individual with a proven track record of delivering complex testing within a buy-side asset management environment. You'll work across business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of regulatory and operational change, while maintaining the highest standards of quality across multiple workstreams.

This role would suit someone who understands not only enterprise testing methodologies, but also the operational and investment processes underpinning fund management.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Functional Knowledge
- Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:
- Asset Management platforms
- Investment Operations
- Fund Accounting
- Transfer Agency
- Custody
- Portfolio Management Systems
- Charles River, Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension or similar investment platforms
- Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM or equivalent test management tools
Personal Attributes
- Strong leadership and programme coordination skills.
- Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation abilities.
- Comfortable working within fast-paced, complex change environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
- Delivery-focused with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
