Job Description
An experienced Test leader with a proven track record of delivering testing strategy, architecture and execution services across large-scale transformation and technology programmes. Responsible for defining and implementing test strategies, test plans, and automation approaches, while leading multi-disciplinary testing teams through the full testing lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test governance across complex enterprise technology programmes.
- Providing effective test leadership to ensure end-to-end test coverage and traceability.
- Managing multiple testing teams across enterprise testing phases, ensuring structured planning and execution across Unit, Component, Integration, System, Non-functional, OAT, UAT, Regression, Data Testing and Production Validation activities.
- Defining and implementing test automation strategies and frameworks to shift quality left, improving efficiency and delivery outcomes throughout a CI/CD lifecycle.
- Promoting shift-right production validation practices that embed quality of live service as a design consideration.
- Understanding programme objectives, business outcomes, and strategic goals to ensure testing supports successful delivery.
- Ensuring team alignment with programme objectives, quality standards, and delivery timelines, including alignment of third-party suppliers.
- Overseeing data flows and data processing and understanding technical integrations with complex architectures and use of appropriate test methods.
- Driving the adoption of AI-enabled testing techniques and tools to enhance overall quality through test design, execution, defect prediction, and reporting.
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and governance to large testing teams and stakeholders across business and technology functions.

- Test Leadership and governance on large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
- Experience developing test architecture and enterprise-wide test strategy.
- Leading large, multi-supplier test teams.
- Test automation frameworks and delivery.
- End-to-end test experience across enterprise test phases (including Unit, Component, Integration, System, Non-functional, OAT, UAT, Regression, Data Testing and Production Validation).
- Supplier and stakeholder engagement and management at senior levels.
- Experience of leveraging AI within testing and quality assurance practices.
