Role Description
The Program Project Manager role is a remote contract position responsible for leading and coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across international environments. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Program Project Manager will engage with clients and partners, facilitate stakeholder alignment, prepare governance and status reports, and ensure compliance with agreed methodologies and standards. The role also involves:
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Resource coordination across disciplines and geographies
- Overseeing logistics, expediting, and inspection activities where relevant
This position requires proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and consistent delivery of outcomes that support institutional strengthening and capacity building.
Qualifications
- Program and Project Management skills, including experience with structured methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA), governance frameworks, and delivery of complex international initiatives.
- Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage timelines, follow up on critical activities, and ensure on-time delivery of project components and services.
- Inspection capabilities, including coordination of quality checks, compliance reviews, and oversight of standards across vendors, partners, or project sites.
- Logistics Management skills to plan, coordinate, and optimize movement of materials, information, and resources across borders and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, prepare clear reports, and present complex information concisely.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration and project management tools suitable for remote work environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business, international development, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA) are highly beneficial.
