Project Description
Project is related to regulatory reporting for one of Clients from Investment Banking area using OpenEdge (Progress 4GL) technology. There is an exclusive team developing & supporting approx. 25 systems in Securities area using Progress OpenEdge solution.
Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills Description
- Overall, 5+ years of professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Progress 4GL OpenEdge Developer.
- Comprehensive skills in Bash scripting for automation and system management.
- Ability to perform system administration tasks related to the Progress 4GL OpenEdge environment.
- Familiarity with system monitoring, troubleshooting, IT networking, and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with shell commands, file manipulation, and process control.
- Familiarity with GitLab / another version control and collaboration and automated deployment tools.
- Understanding of system security and access controls.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description
- Experience managing and administering Progress 4GL OpenEdge databases.
- Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux operating systems.
Languages
- English: C1 Advanced.
