Account Executive Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and retention.
  • Collaborate with the new business team to strategically expand your account in a structured manner, identifying the right prospects in the right sectors to win sustainable long term clients.
  • Have access to outstanding products and services to meet client needs – this includes a range of innovative sectors including Life Science & Technology, Private Equity, Leisure & Entertainment, Media & Creative, Real Estate and Construction.
  • Benefit from comprehensive support in administrative, broking, and claims tasks.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A solid grounding in commercial insurance, having dealt with clients in an account handling, broking, or underwriting role and seeking the additional responsibility and challenge of an Account Executive role.
  • A strong communicator, able to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Keen acumen for identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Location & Availability:

Candidates should ideally be based near to one of the firms regional offices, within commuting distance to London (and locations in the South East and South Coast), Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Leicester, Bristol or Edinburgh for work, meetings, training and coaching purposes.

This role is tailored for professionals seeking to progress from positions such as Account Handler or Underwriter into a more strategic Account Executive role.

With a structured training plan in place, the transition will be smooth and fully supported.
