Experienced Project Accountant - Six-Month Contract
The Role in a Nutshell
The Project Accountant plays a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, improving internal processes, and providing strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and support the company's financial health.
About the Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the business, ensuring effective risk management, financial reporting, and credit control. The team supports strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Redesign monthly management accounts reporting pack
- Redesign VAT return pack and controls
- Redesign monthly treasury reporting
- Redesign daily/monthly cashflow reporting
- Redesign salary sacrifice lease calculation and reporting
- Continuous improvement of internal financial processes and controls
- Support with external financial audits
- Support implementation of bulk cheque banking

Essential
- Please note that all KINTO-UK Ltd employees are required to undergo and successfully obtain Enhanced Security Clearance. These checks include verification of employment history, family background, and financial records.
- Please highlight on your application if you already possess Security Clearance.
- Key Experience & Skills:
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant.
- Extensive experience in a finance or management accounting role.
- Strong technical accounting background, ideally in a leasing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrable experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Desirable
- Experience working in an FCA-regulated environment.
- Experience using SAP and Sofico Miles.
- Knowledge of technical leasing accounting.
- 3-5 years PQE
About KINTO-UK Ltd
This role you are applying for will be working for KINTO-UK Ltd, which is a Mobility Brand owned by the Toyota Group, with offices located in Portsmouth. KINTO-UK share their HR function with Toyota Financial Services (TFS) in the UK; however, the job being advertised will not be working directly for Toyota Financial Services.
