Job Title: Project Accountant Manager

We're supporting a growing international engineering consultancy operating within the Infrastructure and Data Centre sector is looking for a commercially focused Project Accountant Manager.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role will act as the key link between the Finance, Engineering and Project Delivery teams, providing commercial insight across project profitability, budgets, resource utilisation, forecasting and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor profitability across multiple live projects
  • Track budgets, fees, spend and forecasts
  • Review project hours, staff utilisation and resource allocation
  • Work with Project Leads to identify commercial risks and opportunities
  • Produce reporting on margins, utilisation and operational performance
  • Support project billing, forecasting and workload planning
  • Improve commercial reporting and project tracking processes

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Experience in project finance, project controls, commercial management or operational finance
  • Background within engineering, construction, infrastructure or a project-led business
  • Strong understanding of project profitability and resource utilisation
  • Excellent Excel, reporting and analytical skills
  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
