This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the project and site teams with the day-to-day administration and coordination of live civil engineering projects.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar project administration, construction administration, document control, or coordination role. However, our client is also open to considering someone who is early in their career, organised, switched-on, and confident working under pressure with an interest in construction environments.
The Role
Working closely with the project team, you will provide general administrative and coordination support across a number of ongoing projects.
Typical Responsibilities Will Include
- Arranging and coordinating site visits.
- Managing utility applications and liaising with relevant utility providers.
- Coordinating utility surveys and ensuring required information is available to the project team.
- Obtaining and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Saving, organising, and maintaining project photographs and information received via WhatsApp.
- Assisting with the preparation of social media content and project updates.
- Keeping project documentation, records, and trackers fully up to date.
- Providing general administrative support to the project and site teams.
- Following up outstanding information and helping ensure projects remain organised and on track.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
