Description

Are you an organised, proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced project environment? Do you enjoy keeping projects running smoothly, supporting teams, and making a real difference behind the scenes?

OCU are looking for a Project Administrator to join our growing team based on site in Eggborough, supporting the successful delivery of major energy infrastructure projects, including substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and renewable energy developments.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a collaborative project team, where your organisational skills and attention to detail will help deliver critical infrastructure that supports the UK's transition to a more sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Administrator, you'll provide high-quality administrative and project support to our site management teams, ensuring project documentation, communications, records, and reporting are managed accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial teams, Site Managers, and Clients, you'll play a key role in keeping projects organised, compliant, and on track from mobilisation through to successful completion.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers and site teams.
  • Managing project filing systems, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Controlling incoming and outgoing project correspondence.
  • Issuing, tracking, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, recording minutes, and monitoring action trackers.
  • Coordinating project diaries, meetings, and key project activities.
  • Supporting the mobilisation and demobilisation of project teams.
  • Producing professional correspondence, reports, and project documentation.
  • Maintaining project trackers and updating project management systems.
  • Monitoring shared project inboxes and coordinating document approvals.
  • Supporting procurement activities and project audits.
  • Ensuring project records remain accurate, complete, and fully up to date.
  • Maintaining confidentiality while supporting multiple stakeholders across the business.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

You will be a highly organised, adaptable, and enjoy working in a collaborative project environment where no two days are the same.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Previous administration experience within construction, utilities, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working in fast-paced project environments.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
