Project Administrator
Wisbech Area, Cambridgeshire
£29,064 + Annual Salary Review + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
On-site - Full Time | 9am – 5pm (flex) | Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Project Administrator to work for a large corporate company, based on one of their UK sites. You will join a small, friendly, and supportive project team based on-site in Wisbech.
This is a varied and evolving role that would suit somebody who enjoys administration but also likes being involved in the wider running of a busy project environment. No two days are the same, and the successful candidate will play a key part in keeping the team organised and operating efficiently.
Personality and team fit are just as important as experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, adaptable and happy to take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities. Many of the technical aspects of the role can be taught, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a professional project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Project Manager and wider team
- Coordinating and maintaining project documentation
- Document control and record management
- Attending meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions
- Updating project systems and databases
- Organising travel, accommodation and transport arrangements
- Managing visitor bookings and site administration
- Supporting team events and meetings
- Maintaining PPE stock and supplies
- Handling general office administration
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and project requirements as they arise

About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous administration, office support or project support experience
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence taking meeting notes and following up on actions
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Excel
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
Previous project administration or document control experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Typically 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Some flexibility available, such as 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Primarily site-based
- Occasional home working may be available where required
Location
The role is based on-site in the Wisbech area. Driving is not essential provided you can reliably commute to site via public transport or other means.

- Starting salary of £29,064
- Annual salary review
- Performance-related bonus of up to 12.5% of salary
