Wood is recruiting for a Project Administrator to support our Middle Eastern gas project in the Reading office. This is a 6-month contract role working on-site in our Reading office.

The Role
In this role, you will provide general administrative support to the project team. You will be involved in many different tasks day-to-day, such as purchasing, managing emails, creating and updating documents and spreadsheets, arranging meetings, and greeting visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the project team with day-to-day support of the project
- Organises and expedites flow of work through the project and initiates follow-up action
- Maintains knowledge of project status, scheduling requirements, and departmental operations/procedures
- Sets up and maintains hard copy and electronic site file directories
- Issues and approves access to shared project drives and websites
- Ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office, and/or business support services
- Performs clerical, administrative, and general office duties including transcription, typing, and recording
- Ensures reports and documents follow company and project standards and quality
- Manages project-specific forms and instructions
- Coordinates, schedules, and prepares information for meetings and appointments
- Assists field operations with the completion of daily timesheets
- Assists with onboarding/orientation of personnel
- Arranges travel, accommodation, and visas
- Prepares letters and memos for manager’s review
- Gathers data and material information

QUALIFICATIONS
Expected
- Extensive previous project/admin experience in the Engineering and Construction industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Sharepoint
- Ability to correspond and interact with others in a courteous and professional manner
- Possess good organizational skills and has experience of working within a team
- A self-starter with motivation to learn
