Help keep engineering projects organised, accurate and moving forward

Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with our client to recruit an Engineering Administrative Support professional who will provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy engineering team.

This is a varied opportunity where your organisation and attention to detail will help coordinate documentation, scheduling, reporting and communication across engineering activities. You’ll work with colleagues across the business and play an important part in maintaining accurate technical information and supporting operational efficiency.

The Opportunity:

As an Engineering Administrative Support professional you’ll play a key role in:

  • Managing warranty claims, liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to help move each claim forward effectively.
  • Maintaining engineering documentation, drawings and technical records, including creating and managing accurate Bills of Materials for new and existing products.
  • Coordinating engineering meetings and project updates, including preparing agendas and taking clear, accurate minutes.
  • Supporting procurement activity by raising purchase requests, tracking deliveries and helping maintain effective communication between teams.
  • Compiling reports, KPIs and engineering data, while supporting calendars, travel arrangements and collaboration with production, quality, health and safety and other departments.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working collaboratively with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
  • A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ISO documentation and document control requirements, with experience using systems such as SharePoint, Sage X3 or similar.
  • An understanding of a manufacturing or engineering environment, alongside a practical approach to problem solving, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
