Project Administrator
Grays, Essex | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits
Support the delivery of Asbestos Consultancy and rail projects at a UK-leading, employee-owned Trust.
We're looking for an organised, detail-driven Project Administrator to join us. In this role, you will be working within our Rail Team, coordinating diaries, handling customer queries, maintaining records, and supporting quality control on reports issued to the field.
Asbestos experience required, ideally with P402. Training will be provided.

Your Role
Working closely with the Lead Project Manager (Rail) and wider project team, you'll:
- Collate project data and maintain databases and software
- Manage and update diary schedules for technicians and surveyors
- Receive and process customer queries in relation to projects
- Assist with the management, maintenance and archiving of project records
- Monitor resource figures, exposure records and vehicle usage
- Support the maintenance of training records to ensure site compliance
- Assist with quality control of AFM, survey and BSA reports
- Support the production of work instructions, RAMS and Method Statements
- Manage quotation production and customer purchase orders
- Make and receive calls to book survey appointments with tenants
- Book appointments in commercially efficient geographical order
- Accurately record appointments on our Asbestos Management system (TEAMS)
- Support other members of the administration team as required

What You'll Need:
- Asbestos experience required - ideally with P402
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to hit the ground running
- Confidence with data entry, diary management and customer coordination
- Ideally, experience in a project support or technical administration role
- A willingness to learn and adapt to our systems and ways of working
- The ability to pick things up quickly and work with minimal supervision once up to speed
Training will be provided. Experience supporting rail contracts would be an advantage, as this is a key area of focus.
