Project Administrator – Renewable Energy

UK | Supporting projects across the UK & Europe

£35k-£45k pa + Annual Bonus/Pension/Medical/Health Assurance & Generous Annual Leave Allowance

Ready to play a key role in the delivery of the next generation of offshore energy projects?

Our client is a growing and internationally focused offshore renewable energy business, delivering complex projects across the UK and Europe.

They are now looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Project Administrator to join their UK project delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy project environment, coordinating information, supporting project teams, keeping documentation on track and helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with Project Managers, Project Controls, Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, Quality and other project functions, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support across the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Project Managers and project delivery teams with day-to-day project administration in our Weybridge Head Office (NB: You must live within easy daily commutable distance)
  • Maintaining accurate project files, registers, trackers and documentation
  • Coordinating project meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions
  • Supporting weekly and monthly project reporting and management information
  • Maintaining project schedules, trackers, databases and action logs
  • Collecting and collating project progress information
  • Tracking key milestones, deliverables, deadlines and actions
  • Supporting project mobilisation and onboarding activities
  • Coordinating communications with suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Supporting document control and maintaining high-quality project records
  • Assisting with project presentations, workshops, reports and management packs
  • Providing proactive support across the wider project team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Lives within easy daily commutable distance of Weybridge, Surrey
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive and confident following up actions and obtaining information
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbally
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Comfortable working with project documentation, trackers and databases
  • Able to build strong relationships across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Professional, reliable and adaptable
  • Comfortable working with international teams

Previous experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer or similar would be highly desirable.

Experience within offshore energy, renewable energy, engineering, construction, marine, dredging or another project-based environment would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership, pays attention to the detail and enjoys making things happen.
