About The Role

Project Administrator (Net+ Centre Major Projects)

This part-time 0.4FTE post, funded by UKRI, is available immediately and will run until 28/09/2029. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.

Salary will start from £30,878 per annum, pro rata, on Grade D subject to knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. The campus can be either Cornwall or Devon based.

The Net+ Centre is a 5year investment from UKRI into maximising the co-benefit solutions for environment, society and health associated with climate change adaptation and mitigation. Find out more about the Centre here: https://netpositivecentre.com/ The Centre started in September 2024 and will run until September 2029.

You will be responsible for supporting the project management team and ensuring the smooth running of the project. Amongst your responsibilities, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, as well as being responsible for organising meetings (in person & hybrid), producing agendas and taking minutes, assisting with event organisation, setting up purchase orders and processing invoices, and drafting contracts. You will support a diverse range of tasks and, as such, you must be able to plan and prioritise a varied workload. You will also be required to work independently and be proactive and flexible. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate good communication skills.
