Starting salary from £26,707 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Administrator to join the People and Culture Division to support the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and IDEA Research Project Teams.
Key duties of the role include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of governance, projects, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Acting as a central coordination point for project and research activity.
- Supporting the delivery and monitoring of action plans, committees, and working groups.
- Enabling senior leads to focus on strategic development.

Qualifications and skills:
- Educated to a good standard including passes at GCSE grades A–C in English and Mathematics (or have equivalent qualifications or experience).
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confidence with IT systems (including shared mailboxes).
- Experience of taking minutes at senior meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Recent administrative experience in a complex organisation and maintaining web content is desirable.
- Experience of supporting equality, diversity and inclusion activity or diverse stakeholders with a familiarity with inclusive recruitment practices would also be advantageous.
Position details:
- This part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2027.
