Job Title: Project Administrator – Surveys
Department: Etio – Surveys
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: UK, England - Remote (Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions)
Salary: £28,000 GBP pa
Travel Requirements: Some travel within the UK may be requested
Overview Of The Role
The Surveys Administrator provides high-quality operational and administrative support to the Surveys team, managing a portfolio of university customers undertaking student surveys. The role supports the Surveys Operations Manager and Survey Coordinators to ensure surveys are set up correctly, customers receive timely support, and project documentation and data are maintained to a high standard.
The post-holder is a key day-to-day contact for customers, responding to queries, maintaining records, tracking progress against milestones, and helping ensure surveys are delivered efficiently and provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer a caseload of university customers and provide operational support throughout the survey lifecycle.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries.
- Under guidance of the Survey Operations Manager, support survey setup activities and maintain accurate project records.
- Monitor survey progress and escalate issues to the Survey Operations Manager or Survey Coordinator as appropriate.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers and Monday.com boards.
- Undertake data checking and validation activities.
- Support quality assurance processes and escalate risks as appropriate.
- Assist Survey Co-ordinators and the Surveys Operations Manager with meetings and reporting.
- Manage shared inboxes and customer communications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide flexible support across the Surveys team.

Role Deliverables:
- Customer queries responded to promptly, professionally and are of a high standard.
- Work management records maintained accurately.
- Survey administration completed to agreed standards and timescales.
- QA checks completed accurately.
- Risks and issues escalated appropriately.
- Positive contribution to customer satisfaction and survey delivery.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Essential
- Experience in administration (project, events, data, or business support)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence using Office 365 tools, particularly Excel
- Collaborative and proactive approach to working in teams
- Professional and discreet when handling sensitive information

Desirable:
- Experience supporting survey or research projects
- Higher education sector experience
- Use of MS Teams and SharePoint in business settings
- Business Administration qualification (level 3 or higher)
