We invest across a range of housing tenures that deliver market returns to investors alongside meaningful social impact. We currently manage over 5,300 homes representing £1.1bn of assets under management, with ambitious plans to grow to £5bn+ through the launch of new funds and the expansion of existing portfolios.
Thriving Investments is growing our affordable housing activity, including building new partnerships across the sector. This role will involve providing high-quality administrative and project support to help support that growth, working closely with colleagues across Thriving Investments, our parent organisation, Places for People, and with external stakeholders.
More About Your Role
As a Project Administrator, you'll provide high-quality administrative and project support across a range of workstreams, stakeholders and partner organisations. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects, meetings and governance activities run smoothly by coordinating diaries, managing meeting logistics, maintaining action trackers and supporting the delivery of project priorities.
- Working closely with senior leaders, external partners and internal teams, you'll prepare agendas and meeting papers, take accurate minutes, track actions and support timely decision-making.
- You'll also coordinate events, workshops and face-to-face meetings, manage project documentation and support approval processes.
- In addition, you will help prepare briefings, reports and presentations and help ensure there is clear communication on project progress and priorities across the housing associations involved and with internal senior stakeholders.
- The work on the project is varied and there will be opportunities for you to contribute to wider workstreams, including on the policies and organisational design of the organisation we are setting up.
- You'll continually look for opportunities to improve processes and maximise the use of Microsoft 365 tools and AI to support collaboration and effective project delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience providing administration, project coordination or project support within a busy, complex and fast-paced organisation.
- Experience coordinating multiple meetings, actions, deadlines and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience preparing agendas, meeting packs, minutes and action trackers, with responsibility for monitoring follow-up actions.
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders, partners or leadership teams through effective administration and meeting coordination.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within the housing, property, real estate or wider built environment sector.
- Demonstrable experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance business processes, drive efficiencies and support data-informed decision making.
Please note: If we receive a high volume of applications, we reserve the right to shortlist candidates against the desirable criteria listed above.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
