I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Developing Young People
The Cloud Crew supports unemployed people of all ages. It's important to us that our team reflect the people that we support. Our team doesn't currently represent the younger age group, and we would therefore love to hire someone that has the right attributes, but lacks experience.
We nurture talent — all you need is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to doing your best.
We would love to fill this vacancy using the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer scheme. If you are aged 18-21 and living in postcodes CV1-CV6, we would love to hear from you. There is a permanent role available at the end of the scheme, if we both feel like this is the right opportunity for you.

- We are authentic and kind
- Collaboration is a priority
- We hold ourselves to account
