You’ll be responsible for:
- Determining project management, technical services and external resources required for project/s.
- Delivering project objectives in line with the Project Execution Plan, leads and supervises the project team/s and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitoring and actively engaging in health, safety and wellbeing aspects of the project at all stages.
- Preparing and modifies where necessary project plans and keeps them updated and relevant over the course of the project/s.
- Overseeing project timeframes and project budgets and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges and mitigations.
- Collaborating with relevant parties/stakeholders and ensures robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
- Directing relevant meetings, providing relevant parties with contextual information and analysis where required and site walks and ensures these are suitably recorded.
- Partnering with relevant stakeholders and is actively involved in risk management.
- Effectively coordinates and communicates with all project parties/stakeholders, ensuring completion of responsibilities/tasks and ensures suitable standards and records are recorded and maintained.
- Documenting and taking ownership of project changes as and when necessary, tracking project changes.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:
- Proven experience in successfully delivering utility infrastructure solutions - covering power, gas, potable water, foul water, and telecommunications - across new connections, disconnections, diversions, and protection works within technically complex and fast‑moving environments, while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and environmental performance.
- Strong working knowledge of service avoidance and safe excavation practices in line with HSG 47.
- A thorough understanding of utilities builder’s work in connection (BWIC) and CDM Regulations.
- Confidence in coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams comprising designers, contractors, internal and external stakeholders, local authorities, and community liaison representatives.
- The ability to make sound, informed decisions based on project criticality and overall best‑for‑project outcomes.
- Experience building long‑term client relationships and leading high‑performing, motivated teams.
- Professional membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or evidence of equivalent professional or personal development.
- Significant experience in the successful delivery phases of utility projects and programmes.
- Expertise in property or infrastructure project management.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience leading elements of large, multi‑disciplinary projects.
- A proven ability to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- An understanding of how carbon and sustainability priorities influence project strategies and outcomes.
