Project and Delivery Tools Officer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester city centre - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office as required for team days, meetings, and events (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for a Project and Delivery Tools Officer to join our Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) team and help us maximise the value of the tools that support project delivery and portfolio management across our Co-op. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for our delivery tooling, supporting colleagues across DT&D to use our platforms effectively, consistently and confidently. You'll work closely with teams and leaders to improve processes, maintain high-quality data, create helpful guidance and training, and ensure our tooling continues to meet the needs of a modern delivery organisation.

- Lead the administration, configuration and continuous improvement of our project delivery and portfolio management tooling, currently Planview/KeyedIn, while helping shape the future evolution of our tooling landscape
- Act as the subject matter expert, providing support and guidance to colleagues across DT&D
- Act as a trusted adviser to project, programme and delivery teams, helping them identify the most effective ways to use delivery tooling to achieve their objectives
- Create and maintain training materials, guidance and onboarding resources that help colleagues get the best from our tooling
- Work with different user groups to identify opportunities to improve adoption, consistency and user experience
- Help measure and demonstrate the value delivered through tooling improvements, automation and process optimisation, using data and insights to support continuous improvement
- Help maintain high-quality data that supports effective reporting, forecasting and decision-making
- Analyse feedback, usage trends and business needs to identify improvement opportunities and inform future development
- Support the ongoing convergence of project and product tooling across the organisation
What you’ll bring

- Experience supporting, administering or improving project delivery, portfolio management or similar tooling platforms (such as Planview/KeyedIn, Sciforma, MS Project, or similar)
- A good understanding of project, programme or portfolio delivery environments, including Agile and product-led ways of working
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organisation
- Experience working with data, reporting or management information to support decision-making
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into practical solutions
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work based on business value
- A passion for learning, sharing knowledge and helping others succeed
