Project & Operational Change Manager

🌏 Location: London, Manchester, or Oxford (Hybrid)

💷 Discretionary Company Bonus Scheme

⏰ Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

You will be joining Oodle’s Operational Change team. This is a dynamic, agile team that delivers meaningful change across the organisation. Role Description

As a Project & Operational Change Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and operational change initiatives across the organisation, with a particular focus on Operations. You will ensure projects are effectively planned, governed and delivered, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives, manage risks and dependencies, and realise expected benefits.

Alongside this, you will lead a team of Operational Change Analysts and Junior Project Managers responsible for delivering change initiatives and projects across Operations. You will manage the team's workload, capacity and priorities and own the Operational Change Roadmap, ensuring change is appropriately assessed, prioritised and aligned to business needs. You will provide oversight of operational change delivery, balancing competing demands and resources to ensure initiatives are delivered and embedded effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation and planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate delivery across multiple business areas.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and governance, providing clear reporting and escalation to senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to understand requirements, manage expectations, resolve issues and drive effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects deliver agreed business outcomes and benefits, including effective implementation and embedding.
  • Lead a team of Operational Change Analysts and Project Manager(s), managing workload, capacity and priorities to ensure effective delivery of operational change.
  • Manage the Operational Change Roadmap, prioritising requests and allocating resources in line with business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in delivery processes, ways of working and operational performance.

Core Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a project management and/or operational change
  • Experience working in Financial Services or highly regulated industry
  • Experience in the end-to-end delivery of projects, with a focus on outcomes, benefits and continuous improvement
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, resources and competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management across all levels and areas of the business
  • People management experience, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate teams
  • Experience managing a change pipeline, including prioritisation and resource allocation
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management qualification
