The Impact You Will Make
As a Project and Operations Manager, you will play a central role in supporting the launch of new university partnerships and programs, ensuring complex cross-functional activity is planned, coordinated, and delivered successfully. Initially, the role will be weighted towards project management: owning day-to-day project control from contract signature through go-live, maintaining the end-to-end plan, driving accountability across workstreams, and providing clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions, and launch readiness.
As partnerships transition into business-as-usual delivery, the role will provide wider operational support to existing partners and new programs. You will coordinate operational priorities, help resolve cross-functional issues and identify opportunities for improvement, maintain partner and program reporting and documentation, and support the new program process as needed. Working closely with Partnership Directors, Implementation Leads, internal functional teams, and university stakeholders, your work will strengthen launch success, partner confidence, informed decision-making, and operational scalability.
How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life
What You Will Do:
Project Manage Partner and Program Launches
- Develop and maintain the end-to-end implementation plan for new partner and program launches, covering milestones, dependencies, critical paths, readiness criteria, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Supporting the Implementation Lead and Partnership Director, coordinate cross-functional delivery across Risepoint and university teams - ensure deliverables, owners, timelines, and dependencies are clear and aligned.
- Maintain project controls, including project plans, RAID and decision logs, and provide clear visibility of project health, launch readiness, and areas requiring intervention.
- Proactively drive actions and resolve dependencies, escalating material risks or issues appropriately, and routing strategic or commercial matters to the Partnership Director.
- Coordinate launch documentation, readiness checkpoints, go-live planning, final approvals, and handover into business-as-usual operations.
- Leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve project visibility, reporting, documentation, and decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
