Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic full-time General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of the largest and most established Antique markets in London. This is a varied, people-facing leadership role suited to someone highly organised, commercially minded, and confident managing a close-knit but diverse community of dealers and staff.
Job Description
An antique market is looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced individual to join us as general manager. This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing operations, administration, community engagement, and marketing activity across the market.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, practical, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of both strategic planning and daily management. You will be responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the market, strengthening dealer relationships, and supporting the long-term development of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
