Summary
The Project and Resource Mobilization Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of projects and resource mobilization initiatives at WOSAG. This entry-level position is designed for early-career professionals with 0–2 years of experience who are passionate about nonprofit development, fundraising, and advancing the rights and well-being of women, children, and vulnerable populations. The Assistant will provide essential administrative, technical, and coordination support to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of proposals, reports, and donor communications. By contributing to donor research, proposal development, and project documentation, the role helps strengthen WOSAG’s capacity to secure funding and expand its impact. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a mission-driven organization while gaining hands-on experience in project and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Support the identification and research of potential donors, funding opportunities, grants, and partnership prospects aligned with WOSAG’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Assist in the preparation of funding proposals, concept notes, grant applications, expressions of interest, and other resource mobilization documents.
- Maintain and regularly update a centralized database of donors, partners, funding opportunities, and proposal submissions.
- Gather and compile project data, success stories, case studies, and impact information for donor reports and fundraising materials.
- Support the preparation of project progress reports, presentations, briefs, and communication materials.
- Assist in tracking proposal deadlines, donor reporting schedules, and project milestones to ensure timely submissions.
- Contribute to relationship-building efforts with donors, partners, government institutions, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
- Support the development of fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives, and visibility activities.
- Assist in preparing meeting minutes, action plans, and follow-up reports for internal and external engagements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in support of WOSAG’s projects and resource mobilization efforts.

- Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in project support, administrative coordination, or resource mobilization (internships and volunteer work count).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management tools.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in gender equality, women’s rights, child protection, and community development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for stakeholder engagements and project visits.
