Project and Services Coordinator
Location: Quinton, Birmingham
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
We’re looking for a Project and Services Coordinator to come and join our team at our SCG Midlands office in Quinton, Birmingham. You will be coordinating new installation projects, moves and changes for existing and new customers. You will be working with the Sales, Engineering and Accounts team to ensure efficient delivery of the Sales Order Process.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Voice, IT and Data projects within SCG Midlands. Adhering to the Project Scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Attend weekly Project meetings to discuss ongoing Projects, deliverables, risks and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/suppliers to achieve the project deliverables.
- Ongoing training within the team to ensure all systems and processes are followed and understood.
- Placement of connectivity orders with relevant ISP’s.
- Cessations of redundant circuits/services.
- Track Project milestones while proactively identifying any risks or potential issues.
- Documenting all billing information for accounts to ensure the project can be billed correctly and the Project closed.
- Provide regular Project updates to the customer to ensure a high level of customer service is provided.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous telecoms experience is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of agreed processes and practices to carry out work in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy, flexibility and attention to detail in managing each project task.
- Effective knowledge and understanding of the applications and systems used in the role. Applications include Excel and portal-based ordering systems.
- Willingness to adopt new systems, services and processes in line with the evolving needs of the business.
- Excellent communication skills required in liaising with colleagues and customers.
