Project & Social Media Officer
Remote | Part-Time (10 hours per week)
Temporary Contract (5-6 Months)
Hourly rate £16.48 plus holiday pay
Ideally starting November 2026
Our client is a professional organisation seeking a confident and creative individual to support its communications, audience engagement, and project activities. This is a varied role that combines social media and marketing responsibilities with some administration and project coordination. The organisation is particularly keen to attract someone who can bring fresh ideas, raise brand awareness, grow online engagement, and promote its products and services to a wider audience.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining the organisation's social media presence, creating engaging content, and helping to increase visibility across digital channels. Alongside marketing responsibilities, you will also provide administrative and project support, ensuring activities are delivered effectively and stakeholders receive a high level of service.

- Develop, create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
- Increase audience engagement and support the growth of the organisation's online community.
- Promote the organisation's products, services, events and initiatives through creative marketing activity.
- Monitor social media performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Support marketing campaigns and communications activity.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes where required.
- Assist with project administration and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and project documentation.
- Support event planning and coordination activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging content.
- A confident and creative approach, with the ability to generate new ideas and drive engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Experience supporting projects and coordinating activities.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
