About the Company

An established architecture and urbanism practice specialising in classical and traditional architecture. The studio delivers high-quality residential, heritage, commercial and masterplanning projects across the UK.

About the Role

We are looking to speak with experienced and talented Project Architects to work on bespoke private residential projects. You will deliver projects across all RIBA work stages, bringing thorough knowledge of construction detailing and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke private residential projects across all RIBA work stages.
  • Produce and coordinate traditional technical residential detailing, including high-end bespoke project details where required.
  • Plan and deliver programmes of work, adjusting priorities and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Lead or contribute effectively within complex, multi-agency project teams, while also operating independently when required.
  • Consult confidently with clients, design-team consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for project financial control, including budgets, resources and profitability reporting.
  • Use ArchiCAD where appropriate; training can be provided.

About You

  • At least five years of qualified professional experience as an Architect.
  • Solid experience of traditional technical residential detailing; experience detailing high-end bespoke projects is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, building systems, construction types, building contracts and contract administration.
  • Strong design ability, excellent technical detailing and a practical problem-solving approach.
  • Able to manage a complex workload, gain trust quickly and work effectively alone or as part of a team.
  • Able to deliver to agreed time, cost and resource constraints.
  • Knowledge of traditional and classical architectural concepts is advantageous; prior experience is not essential where there is genuine interest in the practice’s work.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK.
