Project Architect / Experienced Architectural Technician
We are an established Architectural practice based near Woodbridge, Suffolk with a healthy and diverse client base. We specialise in schemes ranging across the Residential, Commercial, Retail and Agricultural sectors.
We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic Project Architect / Experienced Architectural Technician to join an established team of 8 within a relaxed yet proactive working environment and you will be running projects from conception to completion working full-time and office based.
As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects within the residential, commercial and leisure sectors including barn conversions and works on historic buildings within East Anglia. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes/skills:

- Experience within the residential, commercial and leisure sectors.
- Experience of preparing and submitting UK based planning and building regulation applications.
- Technically strong with a high level of understanding of UK Building Regulations.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience within a UK based practice.
- Strong communication skills liaising with/providing technical support to clients, as well as contractors/consultants.
- Experienced in carrying out on-site surveys of small residential to medium/large commercial properties.
- Experienced using AutoCAD is essential.
- A good understanding of using Sketch-Up & Photoshop would be beneficial.
- Experience of managing / co-ordinating projects with both colleagues and external consultants/contractors.
