Project Assistant

We are looking for a highly organised and ambitious individual to work as a Project Assistant, supporting our Sales Director with the delivery of major hospitality and commercial furniture projects.

Candidates must have a good attitude, excellent numeracy skills, a professional telephone manner, strong IT skills and exceptional attention to detail.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, playing a key role in supporting projects for some of the world's most recognisable hotel, restaurant, cruise ship and leisure brands across the UK and internationally, while being part of the growing team at Inside Out Contracts, one of the UK's leading commercial furniture specialists, with offices in London, Berlin and New York.

Experience within the furniture, interior design or a related industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing quotations and project costings
  • Working with client briefs, organising samples, specifications and floor plans
  • Managing enquiries and supporting sales opportunities
  • Negotiating supplier pricing and maintaining target margins
  • Updating CRM records, forecasts and project information
  • Using AI and technology to improve commercial processes
  • Supporting client presentations and business development activities

Requirements

  • Experienced within the furniture industry
  • Numerate, commercially minded and detail-focused
  • Confident communicating with clients and suppliers
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Experienced using CRM systems, Excel and AI tools
  • Looking to build a long-term career within a growing business
