About The Role
The Construction and Solutions practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment is seeking a Project Assistant to support their teams, manage client processes, and ensure the smooth functioning of projects. The candidate must be experienced in supporting senior management at a high level, be highly numerate, have good written skills, the ability to take initiative, and prioritize multiple tasks.
The key focus of the role will be to manage and coordinate the administration of client processes so that project and billing arrangements are centralized, organized, timely, and efficient. Whilst not requiring financial qualifications, the successful candidate will have experience and a keen interest in bringing rigor to project delivery processes including managing project setup from the initial sales lead and conflict checks to managing the full commercial life cycle of a project including cost and fee reconciliations, including sub-contractor arrangements, invoicing, and WIP management, and ensuring efficient closing down of projects.
The role will also involve occasional EA support to the team's leadership as well as ad hoc cover of various processes, initiatives, and internal projects as required.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The nature of the business is driven by client deadlines, and on occasion, the successful candidate may be required to work outside the core hours at short notice. The role will be suited to someone who enjoys a full, varied, and sometimes deadline-driven day. The successful candidate will be self-assured, flexible, reliable, with a positive demeanor.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
