What you’ll be doing

As a Project Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting HR initiatives across the People Transformation Programme. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, you will support projects and workstreams, ensuring compliance with defined processes and company policies, while also providing administrative support to senior managers.

  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time and governed effectively
  • Through accurate information management and strong attention to detail, you will support successful project delivery and contribute positively to the wider programme team

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date tracking of the programme and relevant documents including risk logs, decision logs
  • Create and manage reporting schedules ensuring all reports are completed on time and of quality
  • Manage the scheduling of key governance meetings, making sure content is prepared in time and signed off
  • Schedule and co-ordinate key meetings and workshops cross functionally, including booking rooms, making sure the correct attendees are invited and agendas are in place
  • Maintain the programme teams site, updating content, making improvements
  • Compile and format data, and assist with the preparation of presentations and reports
  • Minute meetings and produce meeting outputs/actions
  • Proactively assist the team with ad hoc tasks as they arise

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen to get involved and bring new ideas
  • Great at building relationships - you will be working with many stakeholders and functions at one time
  • Numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail & data accuracy

It would be great if you also have

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR role
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field
