The opportunity
Ethero is recruiting a Temporary Project Coordinator on behalf of an established international equipment rental business based at its distribution hub in Uttoxeter. This is a busy, hands-on coordination role supporting a major seasonal project over the Christmas period. You will work closely with drivers, third-party providers and internal teams to help ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly and on time.
What you will be doing
- Act as a central point of contact for internal teams, drivers and contractors regarding deliveries and collections.
- Respond to live operational challenges and help coordinate practical solutions.
- Ensure delivery and collection debriefs are completed and accurately documented.
- Escalate issues promptly and follow them through to resolution with the relevant departments.
- Update and maintain information within Microsoft Business Central, with full training provided.
- Maintain project spreadsheets and accurate operational records.
- Monitor internal communication channels and escalate delivery issues where required.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Operations Manager and wider project team.
- Provide out-of-hours support when needed during key stages of project delivery.
- Undertake some weekend remote monitoring of deliveries and collections when required.

- Your own reliable mode of transport, as public transport to the site is very limited.

Working pattern
This is a full-time temporary position supporting a major Christmas project. Flexibility is essential, as the role may include some out-of-hours work and occasional weekend remote monitoring to support deliveries and collections.
